Beloved father of
Joanne Ruggiano, Janet (John)
Monaghan and Denise Ruggiano,
brother of Marie Rocco, Silvio
and the late Louis and Gilda,
loving grandfather of John
Francis (Gina) Monaghan, III,
Megan (Daniel) Boring; also
survived by 4 great grand-
children. Alfonso was a
wounded veteran of WWII
serving his country as a
Sergeant at The Battle of the
Bulge and Guard during the
Nurenburg Trials. Alfonso also
was a longtime employee of the
Navy Yard and Philadelphia
Phillies. Relatives and friends
are invited to attend his
Viewing Saturday 9 to 10 A.M.
Epiphany of Our Lord Church,
11th and Jackson Sts. Funeral
Mass will begin at 10 A.M.
Interment Holy Sepulcher
