Anna Calderaio

Anna (Anne) Calderaio (nee Gargano), passed at the age of 90 on December 26, 2022. Beloved Wife of the late John Calderaio.  Devoted Mother of the late Joseph (Susan), Loretta (the late Ron) Masciantonio, and Janet (Andy) Magee.  Loving Sister of the late Margaret Mellina, Mary Bersani, Antoinette Gargano, and Alfonso, Orazio and Henry Gargano.  She is adored by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as “Miggy.”  She is loved and respected by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She was extremely devoted to her family and friends and had a passion for cooking, especially the Seven Fishes at Christmas Eve.  She was witty, wise and will forever be our Prayer Warrior.  Relatives and friends are invited to her VISITATION on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M., at St. Paul’s Church, 923 Christian Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.  Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 A.M..  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made in her memory to 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105 link: https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sc_icid=header-btn-donate-now
