Anthony Casile

1937 – 2024

Anthony Casile, a beloved member of the South Philadelphia community, passed away on February 6, 2024, in his hometown and residence. Born on April 6, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, to parents Pasquale and Rachel Cascio, Anthony leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication.

Anthony was the loving husband of Diane Caulk for 62 years before her passing in 2020. He was the devoted father of Anthony (Donna), Diane (Michael) Glynn, and Linda (Martin) Smullen. Additionally, he is survived by his two sisters-in-law, Arlene Cody and Margaret Higginson, as well as 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

A parishioner of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, Anthony was an active member of his community. His dedication and kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at his viewing from 9 to 10:30 SATURDAY at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, followed by Mass at 10:30. The funeral and entombment will take place at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In his professional life, Anthony was the owner and operator of Casile Oil Company Inc. His hard work, passion, and commitment to his business made a lasting impact on those around him.

Anthony Casile's presence in the lives of those who knew him will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever be cherished. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
