Bertha E Giordano “Betty” (nee Burgoon) Age 96. Passed September 22, 2023. Devoted wife of the late Dominick J. Beloved mother of Richard (Cecilia), Eileen Katz, Rosemary (Joseph) DiLacqua, Joanne Pescatore and Trish (Robert) Grant. Loving grandmother of Jessica Giordano (Christian Sorensen), Ian (Rita) Giordano, Rose (Sam) Gobeli, Suzanne (Nicholas) Santomieri, Samantha DiLacqua, Jordan (Lauren) Katz, Matthew DiLacqua and Santina (Michael) Liciardello. Great Grandmother of Maeve, Richie, Nicholas, James, Charley, Dominick, Charlie and Alessi. Also survived by loving friends and caregivers. Betty was a longtime parishioner of King of Peace Church in S. Philadelphia and will be missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing FRIDAY 9 – 10 St. Rita of Cascia Church 1166 S. Broad St. (Ample off Street Parking Available at Broad and Reed Streets) funeral Mass will begin at 10AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
