Camela Salteras, 87, of Ventnor City, NJ, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on July 6th, 2026. Camela Salteras is now reunited with her loving husband Aurelio Salteras Sr. and beloved mother Cresencia Cainglet and her father Hipolito Gamit. She will also be reunited with all her loving siblings Cecelia Mejia, Antonio Gamit, Jose Gamit, Valeriana Jose, Celistino Gamit, Artemio Gamit, Mariano Gamit and Jorge Gamit . Camela Gamit Salteras was born on February 2, 1939, in Balbaloto, Victoria, Tarlac, Philippines. Her life was filled with love, faith, strength and devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; the foundation of her family. Throughout her life, she showed endless love, kindness, and sacrifice, always putting her family’s needs before her own. Camela will always be remembered for her gentle heart, warm smile, wisdom, comforting food and the love she shared with everyone around her. She always had a way of making sure everyone was welcomed. Her strength, compassion and the values she taught her family will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind. She is lovingly survived by her children, Imelda Salteras; Aurelio Salteras Jr. (Michelle & Mike Pelham) (GianKarlo Salteras); Criselda Salteras & Renato Manuel (Maria & Robert Ruffolo: Bobby and Betsy) (Mikaella & Jose Rodriguez: Aizen & Rayvan) (Richardo & Chanelay Quintero: Zior, Zarlette and Zeviel); Bombong & Rowena Salteras (Aldwyn and Akira Salteras) and Corazon & Francis Olivo (Joyce & Jefferson Ordõno: Seth, Jeyce and Matt) (Royce & Marilyn Olivo: Kyrie and Kyera). Her step children Gloria & Epidio Andrada (Rachel & Jordan Wynegar: Sophia and Sonia Preston, Vera Wynegar) and Mariam & David Holder (Zahira Ismaili) (Johara Ismaili:Isaiah Beltramo Ismaili) (Farrah Ismaili: Ayzen Ismaili); along with extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. Although we are heartbroken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that Camela is now at peace and resting in God’s loving embrace. Her love, sacrifices and memories will remain forever in our hearts. Thank you, Nanay, for all your unconditional love, guidance and strength you gave us. You will always be loved, forever remembered and deeply missed. Rest peacefully, Camela Salteras. Your love will continue to shine through the family you cherished so deeply.
