Carmen Anthony Suero, 70, of Philadelphia, tragically passed away on July 13, 2025. Born and raised in the vibrant neighborhoods of West and South Philadelphia, Carmen was deeply rooted in the community that shaped him.
A proud Navy Veteran, Carmen served his country with honor and carried that same dedication into his life's mission of faith and service. Devoted to the Lord and to the work of recovery, he became a pillar of strength and hope for countless individuals struggling with addiction. Through his unwavering compassion, mentorship, and advocacy, Carmen touched and transformed many lives within the recovery community.
Carmen is survived by his brothers, Anthony (Tony) Suero (wife Karen Santone) and Joseph Suero (wife Jennifer), as well as his beloved nieces, and nephews - Dominique Safern, Anthony Suero, and Julia Suero. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his unshakable faith, and the profound impact he made on those around him.
Family and friends are invited to honor Carmen's life at his funeral service, which will be held at Pennsylvania Burial Company, 1327-29 South Broad Street, Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 6PM to 8PM. His interment will be private
