It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Pagliotti, a beloved mother, and a devoted member of the S. Philadelphia community. Carol passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 78 in her hometown of S. Philadelphia, PA, where she was born on December 3, 1945, to Raymond Matticola and Marie.

Carol was a proud graduate of St Maria Goretti High School and later went on to work as a Purchaser of Military supplies for the United States Government, where she dedicated over 35 years of her life. However, her true passion lay in her commitment to various charitable organizations, including St Mary Magdalen de Pazzi Liesure Timers and St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi Sons of Italy 2787, where she made a lasting impact on those around her.

Known for her beautiful smile and unwavering devotion to the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, Carol was a loyal fan of both teams and took great joy in supporting them. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and infectious love of life.

Carol is survived by her son Alfred (Rosina) Pagliotti and her brother Raymond (Barbara) Matticola and several loving aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pagliotti and her son Charles “Chuck” (late Carol) Pagliotti.

The funeral service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at Baldi Funeral Home 1331 South Broad Street viewing times are Friday 7 – 9PM and Saturday 8:30 – 9:30  where friends and family will gather to honor her memory. Funeral Mass will follow viewing Saturday 10AM St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi Church 8th and Montrose St. Entombment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
