Catherine Jackson

Catherine Lowry was born in 1944 in Philadelphia, PA. She went to Assumption B.V.M. on 10th and Spring Garden Street from 1st grade to 8th grade and went on to graduate from William Penn High School. She worked odd jobs since age on 16. She went on to work at New York Cheese Factory for 15 years. She then went on to work at Frankford Chocolate for 40 years until she retired. She met her husband Darrell Jackson there who she fell in love with and he took care of her until the day God called her home. She was a strong woman who raised 3 children. She leaves to mourn her husband Darrell Jackson, her 3 children Jesse Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson, and Catherine Jackson-Patterson; 1 daughter in law Tiffany Scalia Jackson; 1 son in law Vincent Patterson; 3 sisters Barbara Darden, Elizabeth Burton, and Deborah Johnson; 1 brother Jeffrey Carter; 1 brother in law Andre Darden; 1 sister in law Margie Carter; 5 grandchildren Cossion Walston, Sabrina Jackson, Kristina Scalia Jackson, Anthony Jackson, and Giavanna Rose Jackson; 1 great grandson Jeramiah Jackson; and her best friend Miss Mattie aka Salt n Pepper. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
