Cecilia Palestini

Cecilia Palestini (nee Oviedo) of Bristol, PA, passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 81. She was the devoted wife of the late Andrew, beloved mother of Michael (Mary Beth), Steven (Megan), and Cynthia (Juan) Gutierrez. Cecilia was the loving sister of Betty, Orlando, Hugo, Vinicio, Lorena, Maritza, Nidia, and the late Tulio and Legia. She was the grandmother of Amelia, Miranda, Nina, Dante, Eva, Gianna, and Steven Jr., and is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews.

Originally from Costa Rica, Cecilia immigrated to the United States in the early 70s. She often spoke of her proudest moment, the day she became an American citizen. Cecilia enjoyed knitting blankets for her grandchildren, rooting for her beloved Philadelphia Phillies, and tending to her flower garden, which was filled with roses, dahlias, and orchids. She cherished spending time with her family and hosting visits from her husband's extensive family.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Queen of The Universe Church, 2505 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. A funeral Mass will commence at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held privately.

Cecilia's legacy of love, dedication, and joy will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate to have known her. May her spirit and memories bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
