CRAIG N. KAPUR, age 36, passed away on November 14, 2020. Craig was the devoted son of Claudia M. and Drew K. Kapur with whom he lived in Philadelphia. Craig is also survived by sister, Abigail J. Moore (Jeff) of Amman, Jordan, who he loved very much, and uncles Stevenson R. Kapur (Liz) of Sparta, NJ, Nicholas P. Kapur (Mary) of Charlotte, NC, Reed C. McMasters (Paula) of Charleston, SC, and Randall R. McMasters (Dee) of Orlando, FL, and several cousins. No one though gave Craig greater pleasure than his nieces, Annabelle and Eleanor, whose bright little smiles and innocence warmed Uncle Craig's heart and made him feel loved in ways others could not.
Craig worked as a deli clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market in Philadelphia which took a lot of his time. When he was away from the store Craig loved to surf at LBI, practiced Tai Chi and followed all Philadelphia professional sports teams but loved the E-A-G-L-E-S! Reggie White was always his favorite player and Craig proudly wore his No. 92 jersey.
Craig also enjoyed watching kung fu movies, documentaries on all subjects (especially the oceans and sharks), and often watched sitcom and cartoon reruns late into the night. Craig was a voracious reader of Taoist philosophy, which he tried to follow in his everyday life. While Craig’s passing has created a tremendous void for everyone who knew and loved him, Craig would have counseled us to be strong for “Love is the greatest link we have with those who have temporarily left us.” Laozi.
Funeral arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made in Craig’s honor to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785-2353.
