David Petersen
November 28, 1994 — November 26, 2024
David Petersen Jr aka “Hallucinogenic Bulb” passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 26th 2024 at the age of 29. He was a loving sibling, nephew and friend who will be dearly missed. Dave was a kind and gentle soul who would always be there when you needed him to be. He had a great sense of humor and was an inspiration to many.
Dave was born on November 28th 1994 in Voorhees, New Jersey. He attended Hammonton High School and graduated from Drexel University with his Bachelor's Degree. After graduating he remained in Philadelphia - having found a home and community there.
He was deeply passionate about his art, the music, graphic design work and legacy he created will continue to live on. Dave may have started off on the path to become a level designer for video games but he ultimately found his true passion through Hallucinogenic Bulb, Listless Spirit and his design work.
Dave is survived by his sister, Shanna Petersen, his paternal aunt, Shari Vasello, and his cousins.

The service is scheduled for January 8th 2025 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at The PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. Phila., PA 19147
