David Scott Stafford passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family and beloved fiancé on the evening of Thursday, July 24th. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, David deeply valued his family, his community, his city and the surrounding region where he built his life.

From his humble beginnings through the success he earned, David worked endlessly to support his family and community. He was a successful business owner, and a proud father raising his two children with an abundance of dedication, love and acceptance. He was proud of the place he made for himself in the world, and of his prominence in the city he called home. His wit, charisma, sharp intellect, and faithful heart has and will continue to inspire those who knew him to chase their dreams and conquer their fears.
