Derrick Weaver

Derrick Weaver , age 57, passed away on May 23, 2025.

Beloved son of Diane (née Moncrief) and the late Richard Weaver. Loving father of Derrick, Jordan, Sean (Nicole), Douglas, and Angel. Cherished grandfather of Anakin, Dougie, Lilah, Carson, Rocco, and Serenity. Dear brother of Scott, Richard, and the late Eric.

Derrick was a well-known freelance plumber in the Philadelphia area for many years. He will be remembered for his good-hearted nature and his deep love and devotion to his children and grandchildren.

“That man is a success , who has lived well, laughed often and loved much, who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of others, who has filled his niche and accomplished his task. who leaves the world better than he found it, who has never lacked appreciation or failed to express it, who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had.”

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baldi Funeral Home , 1327-31 S. Broad St., Philadelphia. (Ample off-street parking available.) In Lieu of flowers donations to Derricks family for his funeral expense is appreciated.
Interment will be private.
