Dolores Nuciforo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Dolores

Nuciforo (nee Cantwell) on February 26th, 2025. Born October 3rd in the

Germantown section of Philadelphia , Dolores went on to graduate Hallahan High

School for Girls in 1947. Sister to Thomas Cantwell (deceased) and born to

Thomas and Margaret Cantwell (both deceased in 2000), Dolores married after

graduation and was devoted wife to to Frank S. Nuciforo until he passed away in

2006. Together they raised five children, Francis, Patricia, Marianne, Paul and

Jennifer, who survive her and was loving Grandmother to 14 grandchildren, 15

great grandchildren,sister-in-law and dear life long friend Margaret (Nuciforo) Luzzi), son-in-law

Joseph Mascio and daughters- in law Jennifer Stillwell and

Valentina(Domaniewski) Nuciforo who also survive her. Dolores retired from Smith-

Kline-French in 1988 having served as a Quality Control Specialist to happily enjoy

her retirement years cooking, baking and entertaining her large and loving family.

Family and friends are welcome to attend services at St. Nicholas of Tolentine

Church at 910 Watkins St , Philadelphia PA 19148 on Thursday March 6th beginning

9:30AM with a Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at SS. Peter and Paul

Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to

St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church.
