Domenick Fareri entered into eternal rest on May 24, 2026, at the age of 78.
Loving father of Adeline Fareri (George Pavlinko), Michelle Fareri, and Joseph (Lucia) Fareri. Devoted brother of Assunta “Sue” (the late Anthony) Zampogna and the late Theresa (Carmen) Bisicchia and Elvira (Pete) Bisicchia.
Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey (Danijela) Pedano, Lucianna (Nick) Palmieri, Nina-Maria Brunetti, Angelo Brunetti, Domenica Brunetti, Analisa Fareri, Joana Fareri, and Joseph Domenick Fareri, and proud great-grandfather of Jeffrey, Sofia and Maya Pedano, and Cecelia Palmieri. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family members, and close friends.
A master bricklayer for over 50 years, Domenick learned the trade from his late father and later proudly owned and operated Fareri Construction. Having hands of gold, his craftsmanship and attention to detail can still be seen throughout South Philadelphia, where many row home fronts stand as a lasting tribute to his work ethic and pride in his craft.
Outside of work, Domenick loved gardening, especially tending to his beloved rose garden. He had a passion for winemaking and cherished the wine parties and gatherings shared with family and friends. One of his greatest joys was teaching his grandchildren the tradition and art of making homemade wine.
Christmas was his favorite holiday, and he will long be remembered for the meticulous care he put into decorating his tree and home each season—where not a single ornament was ever out of place.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday from 8:00 to 10:00 AM at St. Rita of Cascia Church 1166 S Broad St. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM.
Domenick is being laid to rest after the mass at Calvary Cemetery.
