Edward Amicone

Edward Amicone passed away on June 17, 2025 at age 90. Edward spent 47 years as an employee of The Philadelphia Inquirer, where he was known for his reliability and commitment. Above all, Edward was devoted to his family. He cherished every moment spent with them, and his love and support were unwavering. In his free time, he found peace and happiness in fishing and crabbing, and he never missed a chance to get up and dance—bringing joy and energy to every gathering. He is the Beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Santangelo); Loving father of Edward (Ellen) Amicone, Patricia (Dennis) Bohner, and the late Francine Amicone-McAllister; Dear grandfather of Chelsea (Dave), Alexis Rae, and Miranda (Adam). He is also survived by his loving great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Dearest companion of Catherine Labinski. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on TUESDAY morning from 9:30am to 10:30am at Stella Maris Church, 10th and Bigler Sts. Funeral Mass begins at 10:30am. Interment Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge PA.
