Edwina Newcomb

Edwina F. Newcomb (nee Lacovara) passed away on March 24, 2023 at age 78. Longtime Conrail employee known as “Connie Conrail”,  she is the Beloved Wife for 58 years to Patrick J. Newcomb.  Loving Mother of Michael (Maritza) Newcomb, David  (Maria) Newcomb, Patrick Newcomb, and Jeannine (Mark) Kinney; Dear Nana of Salvatore (Amanda), David, Brandon, Edisa, Elias, Joseph, Julia, Patrick, Amanda, Kyle, Matthew, Anthony, and Emma; Great Grandmother of Daciana and Natalia; Sister of Maryann Lacovara (Walter), Marguerite Grimes, Elaine (the late Thomas) Bell, Joan Verratti (Tom), Dennis (Jennifer) Lacovara, Larry Lacovara, and the late Janice F. Lacovara; Niece of Joan Amicone; Sister in law of Richard (Teresa) Newcomb, Robert Newcomb, Carol (Frank) Wexler, David (Denise) Newcomb, William Newcomb, and the late Joseph (the late Helen) Newcomb.  She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and her dear friend Louise Giambuzzi.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on FRIDAY morning from 9:00 to 10:00am at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins Sts.  Funeral Mass will follow viewing at 10:00am.  Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street #250, Phila., PA 19106 or https://www.alz.org/delval
