Elvira Sigismondi

Elvira Sigismondi (nee DeMarco) Age 87 passed August 4, 2021 Devoted wife of Joseph for 62 years. Beloved mother of Rita (Joseph) Giannone and Joseph N (Ranee). Loving Nonina of Joseph Jr., Lauren, Gia and Joseph N. Jr. Also survived by 1 sister Lucia (Lou Caporale) DeMarco, 2 brothers Nick (Ruth) and Antonio DeMarco, brother and sister in law Antonio (Nadia) Sigismondi, Ines DeMarco and loving nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving dog Nino. As a first generation Italian immigrant to America, Elvira was always proud to call herself an American. Elvira worked as a seamstress for many years at various clothing factories including sewing military clothing at the Philadelphia Quartermaster. Family and friends will remember summers spent with Elvira at the Ventnor City, New Jersey shore enjoying her delicious food and gracious hospitality.
Elvira loved flowers and enjoyed tending to her garden. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her enjoyment of seeing everyone around her have a good time. Most of all she loved seeing her family happy and together.
