Endang Ratnawati

Endang Ratnawati, also known as Swat Hwa, had gone home to be with the Lord on Friday Morning, April 24th, 2020. She was greatly loved by her children, Ocky Winarti, Yanny Widiarti, Yuanita Widiartanti, and Michael Wijaya, honored by her sons in law, Kristanto and Adrian Hendarta, and her daughter in law, Anita Jaya. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andre Tan, Steven Tan, Kevin Tan, Giosia Hendarta, Eirene Hendarta and Caitlin Wijaya, who all adore their Emak, an endearing way to address their grandmother. She also had godson, Sonny Cahyadi, who has been with the family for more than 20 years.

Swat Hwa was born in Indonesia, and migrated to the US in 2000. She was not a lady with many words, but her actions spoke the loudest when it comes to show her love and affections. She was a woman of faith who raised her children and grandchildren to be devoted Christians. Her passion for charity and to do good works in helping the marginalized was never something she gloated to many, but she set as example for her family to put into practice. Her tenacity for success and her humility despite her accomplishments had inspired her children and their spouses to thrive amidst adversities, to love and to forgive even when it hurts, and to be modest despite how successful they are in life. Swat Hwa had lived a full and fruitful life and now, she had a blast in Heaven, in the loving arms of the Eternal God.
