Frances M. Rutolo

Frances Rutolo (nee Tuso) passed away on Friday May 5, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia on September 8, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Catherine nee Mancuso and the late Joseph A. Tuso

Fran was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and sister. While raising her children she volunteered at Holy Spirit Grade School. In 1987, she joined a third party billing  company, Benefit Services, where she worked side by side for many wonderful years with her Daughter.

Spending time with her family at the grandkids games,  school functions, sporting events, dance recitals and relaxing down at the Ocean City, Maryland shore with the kids was her idea of happiness.

She enjoyed gardening and feeding the many birds that seemed to look for her in the morning. Cardinals always brought a smile to her face. Loved animals no matter the size or breed. Kindness was second nature to Fran.  She never had an unkind word for anyone and always put others before herself.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Carmen L. Rutolo, daughter Audrey Webb (Shawn), son David L. Rutolo (Marisa), Sisters Josephine Neumann (Lewis), Kate Tuso, Grandchildren Alyssa Rutolo, Shawn J. Webb, David A. Rutolo and Kristin Webb.

She will be sadly missed by anyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Visitation will take place at St Monica's Roman Catholic Church located at 2422 S. 17th  St. Philadelphia, Pa. 19145 from   10:00 - 11:00am.  Immediately followed by a Mass. Burial to follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
