Frank Sambuco

With great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Frank J. Sambuco, Jr. of Berwyn, PA on July 8, 2024, at the age of 82.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sambuco, Sr. & Gloria Sambuco (Lalli), and his daughter-in-law, Yvette Sambuco (Goff).

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Sperling, children, Frank Sambuco III, Gina (Sambuco) & Sam Garisto, and Mike & Lauren Sambuco (Zakheim), and his precious twin granddaughters Dana & Emma Sambuco.

Frank was a child piano prodigy who played and composed music in his leisure time. Throughout the years, he was a member of the Philadelphia Musician Union and played for President Bill Clinton and other dignitaries.

After graduating from La Salle University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics in 1963, Frank began working at Boeing where he eventually became an IT Manager for Flight Test Systems.

After 35 years, Frank retired from Boeing in 1998. Shortly after, his hobby transformed into a post-corporate career as a piano teacher and entertainer. He performed at countless events, parties, and senior living facilities, bringing smiles and happiness to many.

Frank also enjoyed watching Phillies and Eagles games and playing Bridge, Chess, and Billiards with friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, kindly contribute to the American Heart Association in Philadelphia or Hospice Care at Paoli Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at West Laurel Hill Cemetery (225 Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004).
