Fred (Fedele) Moffa

Fred Moffa Jr, age 90, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on September 10, 2024.

Fred was born and raised on Federal St in South Philadelphia and resided in the general vicinity most of his life.  Fred was a diesel mechanic and truck driver for Finocchiaro Motor Freight and a truck driver for R.F.Trucking, Inc. He loved walking with his many dogs, fishing, washing his car while listening to Johnny Cash and spending the day on Broad Street watching the New Year’s Day Mummers Parade with his family.

Predeceased by his parents Tomasina and Fedele Moffa, 10 Sisters and Brothers, wife Rosemary, previous wife Margaret and 2 Granddaughters: Nicole and Donna. Father of Fedele “Fred” Moffa III (Theresa), Jayne “Susie” Burket, and Michael Moffa, stepfather of Melissa Donia; Grandfather of Jessica (Jason), Gary, Fedele IV, Michael (Gina), Theresa (James), Heather, Carolyn and Francis(Melissa). Great Grandfather of Victoria, Giovanni, James, Krista, Fedele V, Braylee, Annaleigh, Michael, Lili, Dejea, Jayden, Ariella, Jackson, Isabella, Elizabeth, and Anthony.  Great-great Grandfather of Ryan. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services and internment in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
