Gertrude Ridolfi
May 30, 1927 — April 3, 2014
Gertrude (“Trudie”) Ridolfi, 86, a long-time resident of Margate, NJ, passed away peacefully with the grace of God at her home in Pompano Beach, FL on April 3, 2014, surrounded by devoted family and loved ones.
A former nurse for many years at Shore Memorial Hospital, Trudie dedicated her life’s work to caring for countless residents of her beloved Jersey Shore community. Working well into her 80’s, her compassion, spirit and quick wit will be missed by all those fortunate to have known her.
Preceded in death by her loving daughter, Debbie (1971), she is survived by her amazing son, Julius (“Judd”) Ridolfi and his wife, Donna, of Pompano Beach, FL, as well as her nephew, Frank Novelli, Jr. (Marianna) of Philadelphia, Pa, a niece, Linda Novelli, of Margate, NJ and her team of Florida angels.
Although burial services remain private, Gertrude will be prayerfully remembered at Palm Sunday’s 10:00 am mass at Holy Trinity Parish, Blessed Sacrament Church, on April 13, 2014.
