Giuseppe Aversa

Giuseppe Aversa passed away on April 27, 2026 at age 95. He came to the United States from Santa Caterina, Calabria, Italy in 1966, built a life centered on hard work, tradition, and the people he loved most. He found great joy in gardening, taking pride in nurturing the fruits of his labor. He was also known for making homemade wine, which many would say was exceptionally good and always shared generously. Above all, Giuseppe cherished time spent with his family and friends. Whether gathered around a table, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, those moments meant the most to him. He is the Beloved Husband of the late Pasqualina (nee Cinanni); Loving Father of Rosalie (Mario) Rullo, Michael (Dana) Aversa, and Anthony Aversa; Dear Nonno of Jennifer (Bill), Rosemarie, Robert, Julia, Ashley (Ed), Antonio, and Joey; Great Grandfather of Isabella, Luciano, and Ariana. Brother of Ralph (Catherine) Aversa, Catherine Cacia, and the late Angelina (Rocco) and Teresa (Jimmy). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. His family will greet relatives and friends on MONDAY, May 4th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at The PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. Prayer Service begins at 12:00pm. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
