Grace Mc Caffrey

GRACE E. (nee Base!), born
May 31, 1924 passed away Feb.
8, 201S, at 90 years of age,
almost 30 years to the day she
buried her husband Thomas.
During her illness, she received
loving and compassionate care
from Dr. Peter Honig and his
assistant Leah, Dr. Brian
Fedgchin of Phila. and Dr.
Melvin Ackerman of Haddon-
field, NJ as well as the staff of
Thomas Jefferson Hospital and
Beebe Hospital in Lewes DE
for which the family will be
forever grateful. From humble
beginnings, she worked hard
her entire life and retired from
BJ's Wholesale in Maple Shade,
NJ just 3 years ago at age H7.
She and her husband Thomas
raised a family of 3 children, 2
of whom are deceased, Deanna
Schikal and Thomas McCaffrey.
She was a loving daughter,
sister, wife and friend to many
people. An exceptional mother,
grandmother and great
grandmother to whom she was
lovingly known as Mom-Mom.
She is survived by her daughter
Kathy (Saverio) Principato of
Georgetown, DE, her daughter-
in-law Kathy McCaffrey of
Huntingdon Valley, PA, her gl-and-
daughters Susanne Rudolph
and Annemarie McCaffrey, her
grandsons Matthew, Christopher
and Michael Strader, Joseph
and John Schikal and her great
grandchildren: Alex, Clara,
Gabby and Hannah.
