Helen Vong, also known as "Fat Ma" to those close to her, lived a remarkable life filled with love, loyalty, and grace for 75 years. She passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024, surrounded by her family, nieces, nephews, godson, goddaughter, and friends. Her legacy is one that will continue to inspire generations.

Helen was born on August 15, 1949, in Vietnam, and her life was a testament to passion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She demonstrated the power of love and resilience throughout her entire life. Her impact on her relatives and the love she shared with her family and friends will always be cherished. She was known for her delicious cooking, which will be missed by all who knew her.

As we remember and celebrate the life of "Fat Ma," we honor a life well-lived and a love well-shared. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, loyal friend, and gracious soul who will forever live in our hearts as a beacon of love. A memorial/prayer service will be held on January 26, 2024, at the Buddhist Temples located at 725 Dickinson Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. The service will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 10 p.m. Visitation will also take place on the same day (January 26, 2024) from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Baldi Funeral Home.

Reception after service will be at Brother Seafood Restaurant, 1475 Brace Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 at 11 a.m.
