With heavy hearts, the family of Mrs. Huong Lieu announces her passing at the age of 104. With ancestral roots in China, Huong was a devoted wife to the late Mr. Moc Lieu, with whom she shared over 70 years of marriage. Together, they raised their family in Vietnam, where they were successful entrepreneurs running an incense business, before migrating to the United States in 1980. They raised nine wonderful children along with their spouses and were blessed with 17 grandchildren and their spouses, as well as 15 great-grandchildren.
Huong was more than just the matriarch of her family; she was the heart and soul that brought everyone together. Her zest for life was infectious, and she embraced every moment with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. A true foodie, she had a love for people and new experiences.
Her warmth and charm endeared her to everyone. With a twinkle in her eye and a quick wit, Huong made conversations delightful. Her humor brought smiles and laughter, lighting up any room she entered. She had the unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved.
Huong was incredibly generous, always supporting charities, giving back to great causes, and helping those in need. She believed in the power of kindness and instilled in her family the importance of paying it forward.
Though she has left us physically, her spirit will continue to inspire her family and loved ones. They will forever cherish the lessons she taught, the love she showed, and the laughter she brought into their lives. May we remember her final message to everyone: live well, be kind, give back and appreciate everything and everyone around you. As we bid farewell to our beloved Huong, we'll remember her for the warm, sincere person she was and the beautiful life she lived.
Follow Buddha and rest in peace, dear Huong. 阿弥陀佛 (Amituofo)
