Ida Sesso

Ida Sesso passed peacefully November 4, 2021 at the age of 101. Daughter of the late Charles and Angelina (nee Cianciulli). Loving sister of the late Dorothy (Marty) Rollin and Gilda (Charles W.). Aunt of Charles P. Long, Steve Rollin, Esther Helen Laken and Ann Marie (Joseph A.) Leva. Great Aunt of Brooke Laken, Joseph C. (Danielle) Leva, Michael W. Leva, Jennifer Laken-Shirk and Jill Marie Leva. Ida graduated from Norris S Barrett Jr. High School she was a pattern matcher for H. Daroff and Sons at 23rd and Walnut Sts., the maker of Worsted-Tex and Botany 500 men;s suits. Later worked at St. Agnes hospital as a food service aide. Hobbies and interests were crochet and shopping at Gimbels, Strawbridges, Wanamakers, Bonwit Teller and specialty stores on East Passyunk Avenue. Ida will be remembered hosting family birthday parties with cake from Swiss Pastry in center city Philadelphia and pastries from Termini’s. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral MASS Tuesday 10AM St. Rita of Cascia Church 1166 S. Broad St. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
