Io Fan Pang 彭鄭耀芬

Io Fan Pang, Age 72, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Io Fan Pang, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2025. She was born on January 10, 1953 in Macau, China as the fifth of seven children. She married Danny Chi Pang in 1980 and immigrated to the United States shortly thereafter.

She valued family above all else. She was married for 45 years and was a devoted mother to three daughters who were her pride and joy. She cherished time spent with the people she loved most and found happiness in sharing family meals, drawing, and playing guitar while singing folk songs. She always made sure her loved ones knew how much they meant to her, and she will be fondly remembered for her unconditional love and unwavering support for her family.

She was kind to everyone she met and always wanted the best for others. She spent her career in education, serving as a teacher and then as a bilingual counselor assistant, helping Chinese immigrant families until she retired in 2018. Her thoughtfulness, kind heart, and generous spirit touched all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband (Danny), three children (Sabrina, Crystal, and Belinda), and three grandchildren (Franklin, Sophia, and Chloe). Her family will forever carry her love in their hearts.

A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 10am -12Noon at Baldi Funeral Home 1331 S Broad St. Phila., Pa. (Ample Off Street Parking Available) with burial on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 11am Hillside Cemetery 2556 Susquehanna Rd. Abington, Pa 19001. (meet at Baldi funeral home at 10am Sunday for the processional to Hillside Cemetery).

In lieu of sending flowers, a box for traditional “baijin” (money in a white envelope) will be present at the funeral. Alternatively, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in her name (https://donate.cancer.org).
