James P. Gannone

James P. Gannone passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 at age 81. James was a proud retiree of SEPTA, where he spent many years as a dedicated trolley driver. A lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, he rarely missed a game and always rooted for his teams with passion. He enjoyed trips to the casino and the thrill of the slot machines, but above all, he loved spending time with his family, who brought him his greatest joy. He is the Loving Father of Gina (Anthony) Capocci and James (Karen) Gannone; Dear Grandfather of Anthony, Caitlin, Quentin, and Isabella; Great Grandfather of Jonathan, Kamran, and Nina; Dearest Companion of Diana Costa and her children Diana and Robert (Kira) Costa and their children Lisa, Emily, Julian, and Brookelynn. His family will greet relatives and friends on SATURDAY from 10:30am to 12:00pm at The PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. Prayer Service begins at 12:00pm. Interment Private.
