James Robert Pizzo

James Robert Pizzo passed away on August 12th, 2026. He was a former member of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Quaker City & South Philly String Bands, and long time member of Ferko String Band.  He is the Beloved Husband of Barbara; loving Father of James Pizzo, Mona (Dave) Shaeffer, Joseph (Suzanne) Pizzo; and Alexis (Chris) Kaczmarski Dear Grandpop of Ashley, Joseph, VinaMarie, Joseph, Gianna, Denine, Vanessa, Michael, Victoria, Joseph, and Harper. and the Late Thomas Munz.and Great Grandchildren. Sisters Ellen Smith, and Susan Hample Vierheilig, and the late Brother John Pizzo, also survived by Nieces and Nephews Relatives and Friends are invited to his Viewing and Mass MONDAY 24th Morning 10am and 11am Funeral Mass at St Monica Roman Catholic Church, 2422 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145 His interment will be private.
