Jean Terrizzi

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our mother, Jean F. Terrizzi (nee Tedesco), at the age of 98 on March 26, 2025. Jean was the beloved wife of Anthony (Tony) for 61 years prior to his passing in 2007. Jean is survived by her 4 daughters: Carol (Joe), Barbara (Rich), Cheryl, Michelle (Anthony) and was proud to be the grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 13. Jean was a special Aunt to Joann, Butch, and Donna. She is now reunited with her 3 sisters: Dora, Anita, and Marion.  Our mom was fiercely loyal, strong, and resilient and instilled these values in each of us. Her happiest times were when her family was gathered together. Family and friends are welcomed to visit and attend the Mass for Jean on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19148.  Her visitation will begin at 9:30am followed by her funeral mass at 10:30am. Interment Private. Our mom received wonderful care at Temple University Hospital. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in her honor at www.giving.temple.edu/PH specifically to the Temple Pulmonary Hypertension Research, Education, and Patient Care Fund.
