Joel is survived by his mother;his fiancee,Roda Melegrito;his child Joel M. Mejia Jr;his older brother Jose C Mejia Jr. And his 3 sisters, Devina C Balbuena (nee Mejia)Heide Millo (nee Mejia) and Marivic Bangis (nee Mejia) He is predeceased by his youngest brother Pedro C Mejia and his father Jose S Mejia Sr.
Joel was born in Tarlac,Philippines on October 20 1976 to Jose C Mejia and Lydia C Mejia. He Graduated from furness Horace high school in 1994. On april 6 2012 he proposed to Roda Melegrito. On December 27 2014 born in italy, he welcomed his son, who was the most important part of his life.
Joel was a devoted father and a kind hearted man. He enjoyed cooking and was an avid fan of sports. He often went fishing or crabbing whenever the weather allowed. He also was a humorous man that always brought laughter to many parties and outings. He was generous to whoever needed help whenever he had even the slightest prosperity. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who were fortunate to have met him.
