John Frank Raimondi, Esq., a lifelong South Philadelphia native and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at age 77. He leaves behind a legacy of service, dedication, and love for his family and community. He was a proud graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law, earning his law degree in 1975. He went on to dedicate 35 years of service to the City of Philadelphia as Deputy Register of Wills, while also maintaining his own private law practice. Throughout his long and distinguished career, John was respected for his commitment to his profession and to the people he served. Outside of his work, John cherished the simple joys of life. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed following the team whenever he could. Above all, John treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, creating memories and sharing in the moments that meant the most to him. A proud South Philadelphia native, accomplished attorney, dedicated public servant, and beloved grandfather, John will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his commitment to his community, and the many lives he touched throughout his career and his life. He is the Beloved Husband of Molly (nee Carson); Loving Father of John Jr., (Jessica) Raimondi and Jane Raimondi; Dear Grandad of Jacob and Jack. Son of the late Frank and Josephine Raimondi; Brother of the late Joan Iaconelli. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation and funeral on SATURDAY, August 15th from 9:30am to 11:00am at St. Monica’s Church, 17th and Ritner Sts. Funeral Mass begins at 11:00am. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
