He was a pressman/paper printer for over 30 years at Alessi Graphics, formerly NDI. He
played softball for their company team, as he was an avid sports fan. His love for
Philadelphia sports team ran deep, and he counted down the days for each sport to
start again each year. He was rarely seen without his Eagles or Phillies ball cap on.
He was a part of the South Philadelphia community in starting a neighborhood watch
and donated to the American Red Cross blood drive yearly. He was a member of St.
Monica’s Catholic Church where he attended regularly with his daughters in his younger
years.
His greatest joy and love in his life where his two daughters, Maria and Gina. He had
tremendous pride for them and bragged about them to anyone who would listen. He
spent years teaching them both sports when they were younger, playing catch with
them, and cheering them on from the sidelines in all they did. When his granddaughter
Stephanie started playing sports, he did the same for her. Made every game he could to
watch her, cheered her on from the bleachers, and talked about her skills constantly. He
enjoyed watching Kimberly, Karley, and Kelsey at their dance recitals. You knew he was
in the crowd by the sound of his whistle, proudly coming from somewhere in the
audience.
He lived each day as if it were his last, he loved his family, and showed loyalty and love
to all who had the pleasure to know him. He will be sorely missed, deeply loved, and
