Joseph Sapienza

Joseph J. Sapienza passed July 29, 2024, at the age of 83. Devoted husband of Angelina (nee Finizii). Beloved father of Anthony (Kathleen) and Joseph (Keeley). Loving Poppy of Krystina (Kyle) Rice, Anthony Sapienza, Marisa Sapienza and Joseph Sapienza. Great grandfather of Elliana Lynn and Lucas Joseph. Also survived by loving cousins, family and friends. Joe was a member of Gamblers Anonymous for over 30 years and a charter member and treasurer of New Jersey’s Turnersville chapter. He was a firefighter for 35 years with the city of Philadelphia, stationed at 50th and Baltimore Ave., 12th and Reed St.  and before retiring 4th and Arch St.  Joe will be remembered for his quick wit and upbeat sense of humor in life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing FRIDAY 9 – 10:30 St. Charles Borromeo Church 176 Stagecoach Rd., Sicklerville, NJ 08081. Funeral MASS will begin at 10:30.
