Josephine M. (nee Spano), a longtime Whitmans Candy factory worker and volunteer at St. Agnes and Methodist Hospital, passed away on March 26, 2016 at age 87. Beloved wife of the late Alexander; loving sister of Antoinette (Anthony) Ricciardi and the late Mario, Nicholas, Anthony, Rose, and Carmella; sister in law of Connie; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral TUESDAY Morning 9:00 to 10:00 at St. Edmond’s Church, 21st St. and Snyder Ave., Funeral Mass to follow viewing at 10:00am. Int. Holy Cross Cem. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Methodist Hospital, 2301 S. Broad St., Phila., PA 19145.
