Julia C. Caporelli (nee Buonadonna), age 93, passed away on November 1, 2026.
Devoted wife of the late Albert Caporelli. Beloved mother of Angela (John) Spadano, Anthony (Christina) Caporelli, John (Patricia Burns) Caporelli, and Dawn Stone (Larry Del Spechio). Loving grandmother of Nicholas (Janet), Danielle, Richele, Denae (Aaron), Anthony and Adrianna. Proud great-grandmother of Nicholas, Nyomi, Arianna and Ayden.
Affectionately known to her family as “Jazzy Jul,” Julia had a wonderful personality and a true zest for life. She took great pride in always looking her best. Whether heading to an appointment with her hairstylist, getting her nails done, or attending a family celebration, Julia always made sure she looked her best and remained ready to enjoy herself.
As a mother raising four children, Julia took that same pride in her family, always making sure her children looked their best and were well cared for. Family remained at the center of her life. She rarely missed a family gathering and loved any opportunity to dance, celebrate, laugh, and enjoy the company of those closest to her. She also enjoyed her favorite spirit, Jack Daniel’s, especially when surrounded by good company.
Some of Julia’s most cherished times came during Sunday dinners, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family. Having everyone together brought her tremendous happiness and created countless memories that her family will continue to treasure.
Julia will be remembered for her lively spirit, her sense of style, her love of dancing and celebrating, and, above all, her devotion to her family. “Jazzy Jul” leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a spirit that will continue to bring smiles to all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Monica Church, 17th and Ritner Streets, Philadelphia. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM.
