Juliette Torres

Juliette Torres (nee Hans) passed away on April 19, 2025 at age 48.  With heavy hearts, we remember an extraordinary and compassionate soul who dedicated 25 years of her life to caring for others as a nurse at Methodist Hospital. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched countless lives, and for her, nursing was never just a job — it was a calling. Beyond her profession, she brought joy to everyone around her. She loved spontaneous beach trips with family, laughed her way through casino outings with her sister, and found peace in crocheting warm, cozy blankets for those she loved. Music was the soundtrack of her life — whether she was singing along or just soaking in the melodies, it always brought her happiness. She was a bright light, a caregiver in every sense, and her warmth will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She is the Beloved Wife of her Charlie; Loving Mother of Joshua, Anthony (Mary), Toni (Will), Jenna (Mack), Noah and Charlie; Dear Grandmom of Hunter and Sofia; Sister of Anthony Hans, Trisha (Frank) Citrigno, William (Genine) Hans, and Jeffrey (Laura) Hans; Aunt of Taylor (Eric), Billy, Cesco, Juliette, and Caden. Also survived by her loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Her family will greet relatives and friends on THURSDAY morning from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Rita of Cascia Church, Broad and Ellsworth Sts. Funeral Mass begins at 10:00am. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to autismspeaks.org
