Kim Chua (nee Ea) passed on August 16th, 2020 surrounded with love. Born on May 2, 1954 in Cambodia, she was the beloved daughter of Khatieng Ea and Peng Lao Ea. Beloved wife of Teow Lin Chua, loving mother of Mei-Ling, Wee-Jhong, Mei-Ly, Paul-Jhing, and mother-in-law to Molly Chua (nee Kruth). Grandmother to Katelyn and Jason. She is also survived by her sister, brothers, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones. As a refugee from the genocide in Cambodia and a gifted guide and sponsor for hundreds of people. She is remembered and loved as a deeply caring person and for making everyone feel special. Her greatest joy lies in her love for her family and she will be greatly missed and celebrated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the International Rescue Committee https://help.rescue.org/ in her honor. Loved ones are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday 8/22/2020 via video streaming. Due to social distancing, in person services will be limited to local family and friends.
