Beloved mother and grandmother, Kim Lệ Thi Le, age 77, entered into eternal life on October 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her side. Born, in the face of hardship, in Vietnam, she lost her biological father before the age of one. Raised by her wise maternal grandparents who instilled the value of education and resourcefulness, which enabled her with capabilities in her teen years to care for her step siblings as the bearer of duties. While she independently pursued health aid training, she fell in love with a charming soldier in her twenties. Soon after marriage, they struggled to stay alive with their baby son during the Vietnam War. Together, for over forty years, they often shared profound experiences, including raising four children. She had been the bedrock of keeping the family closely and safely together. She had worked tirelessly, even taking on second shifts of work from farms to ice cold manufacturing to provide for her family. Her struggles and sacrifices are the epitome of a mother. She exemplified pure grit, determination, self-reliance, responsibility, and above all else… she gave all her love to her four children and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ych Doan, and parents. Kim Le will live on in the memories of her surviving children, Quang and spouse May, Vanessa and spouse Chun Lei, Maggie and spouse Eric, Chuong and spouse Ngoc; her grandchildren, Ethan, Ryan, Lianna, Austin, Keagan, Gavin, and Noah. Kim Le was a devout parishioner at St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
