Lac Au

Lac T. Au, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He was born to Hi Au and Hao Tien on May 9, 1950 in Saigon, Vietnam. In May of 1978, Lac started his journey on a boat leaving Vietnam. After a few challenges, Lac arrived in Marion, Indiana in November 1978. Lac is survived by his wife Emily and their son, Tony. Lac leaves behind four sisters, and along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Lac has lived and worked in Atlantic City for over the last 30 plus years of his life. Lac was an avid fan of National Geographic. Lac loved sharing food such as Chinese hotpot and hainanese chicken rice with friends. At one point in time, he tried to venture into being a cake taste tester.

He will be remembered by many of his co-workers, friends and family. He will be missed dearly.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10am on November 13, 2023 at Baldi funeral home located at 1331 S. Broad street Philadelphia, Pa 19147 (Ample Off Street Parking Available). Family and friends are invited for interment and the commital service at Calvary Cemetery Friday November 17th at 11AM (next to the Mausoleum Rt. 38 Entrance.)
