Leonardo S Fermo

Leonardo Sison Fermo (22 April 1940-17 September 2025)

Beloved husband of the late Saniata Vallejos Fermo, a loving father and grandfather. Leonardo passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025 at the age of 85, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Leonardo graduated with Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna, before joining the US Navy in 1967. In addition to his services to the US Navy, he also worked at the Naval Shipyard and dedicatedly worked for the city of Philadelphia for years before retiring.

Born in the Philippines, Leonardo lived a life marked by deep devotion to his family and was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching various sports, particularly swimming, football, and tennis. He also found great joy in traveling and exploring the world and was a keen listener of current events and politics.

Leonardo is survived by his three children, their spouses, and his only grandchild. He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchild, brothers, sisters, extended family, and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Saturday, September 27th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at: Pennsylvania Burial Co. and Baldi Funeral Home 1327–29 S. Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19147. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at:
