Linda Melograna

Linda Antonia (nee Campolongo) Melograna Age 74. Passed away peacefully on August 15, 2020. Born and raised in South Philadelphia. Daughter of the late Marie and Al Campolongo. Beloved wife to her high school sweetheart Michael just shy of their 51St wedding anniversary. Devoted mother of Monica (John) Parent of Cherry Hill,NJ, Michele (Jack) Payakovich of Scottsdale, AZ, Michael (Susan) Melograna of Cherry Hill,NJ. Loving grandmother of Angelina, Alyssa, Lilliana, Savina and Luca. Sister of Marguerita “Peggy” (late Alfonso) Mattia and her late twin brothers Alex and James Campolongo. Also survived by her loving brother in law and sister in law, Joe and Betsy Melograna, dearest friend Denise (Jerry) Lister and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Linda was a bank teller for over 20 years through multiple bank mergers/acquisitions. She excelled in Italian cuisine, was an avid reader, crossword puzzle enthusiast and a lover of the beach. Enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during Easter and Christmas. She liked watching Jeopardy and her hometown Philly sports teams, especially the Phillies and Flyers. In October 2019, a walk was held in her honor at Cherry Hill High School East. Over $11,000 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Association.
