Louis DelConte

Louis DelConte passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026 at age 81. He was a longtime optician at Tru-Site Optical, where he was known for his dedication and care for others. Outside of work, Louis found great joy in gardening, music, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with his family. His family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Morgan Krush and the entire team at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital for the excellent and compassionate care they provided. He is the Beloved son of the late Raphael and Catherine (nee LaRosa); Father of Kim (Rocco) Rugnetta; Brother of the late Dolores (Swan) Dunn and also survived by many other loving cousins, family and friends. His family will greet relatives and friends on SATURDAY January 17th from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Monica's Church, 17th and Ritner Sts. Funeral Mass begins at 10:00am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Little Sisters of the Poor at the link below.
