Margarita Dejesus

Margarita DeJesus (nee Rodriguez) Passed away September 26, 2023, at the age of 97. Devoted wife of the late Angel DeJesus Martinez. Beloved mother of the late Ramona Rodriguez. Loving grandmother of Cecelia Ruiz and Michael Ruiz. Great Grandmother of Lena Ruiz. Destiny Tiquin, Christina Ruiz, and the late Miguel Ruiz. Great Great Grandmother of Alanna Smith, Siahnna Green, Felix Green Jr., Jayden Green, Charlise Ruiz and Marcellus Bullock. Margarita was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico and immigrated to the United States in 1951. She enjoyed   singing, where she made her living when first arriving in the states. Cooking was her passion, and her family enjoyed many dinners around the family table. Margarita retired as a seamstress with the Ladies Garment Workers Union AFL-CIO before dedicating her later years to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday 9 - 10 St. Paul Church 10th and Christian St. Funeral MASS will begin at 10AM Interment Fernwood Cemetery. ARR By  Baldi Funeral Home
