Marianne Barone

Marianne R. Barone (nee DiEnno) Taken home peacefully by our lord on December 14, 2021. Survived by a daughter and 2 grandchildren, She was predeceased by her parents Roger and Mary (nee Cataldo) DiEnno, brother Vito and husband Richie. Also survived by her sisters in law Rita Barone , Angie (Ernie) Pronkowitz, bother in law  Michael (Jean) Barone and Joseph Barone as well as her nieces and nephews. Marianne endured a 14 month agonizing battle with both pancreatic and liver cancer. Even though she knew these dreadful diseases had insurmountable challenges she never gave up hope and never wavered in her faith. She was devoted to St. Rita her entire life and found amazing strength and courage in that devotion. She was thankful for Angie and Ernie Pronkowitz, Steffy DiCicco and her family, Jeanette Million, Phyllis Fox and Toni Olivo for their care and support during her illness. She will be missed by those friends and neighbors who truly cared about her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday January 8th 9 – 10AM St Rita of Cascia Church 1166 S. Broad St. Phila., PA 19145. Mass will Follow viewing 10AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made in her name to St Rita of Cascia Church.
