Marie (nee Verna) passed away peacefully on January 4, 2019 at age 86. Beloved wife of 63 years of the late Thomas; Devoted and caring mother of Thomas (Peggy), Karen (Steven) Litzenberg, and the late Janet (William) Viola; Grandmother of William and Marissa Viola and Steven and Matthew Litzenberg; Sister of Jean Bruno and the late Rita Armento and Thomas Verna. Marie was the daughter of the late Elvira (nee Gentile) and Nicholas Verna. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and Funeral TUESDAY Morning from 8:30 to 10:00 at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 1511 S. 10th St., Phila., PA 19147. Funeral Mass to begin at 10:00am. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Annunciation Church or Asana Hospice, 300 Johnson Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.
