Mary Hayes

Mary Hayes (née Menone), born on June 13, 1954, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after an extended illness. She was 72. Known for her vibrant spirit, Mary loved embarking on adventures and taking memorable trips to Atlantic City alongside her beloved companion and close friend, Joseph A. Desimone. Her legendary love for Pepsi was unmatched—if she didn't have one in her hand, everyone knew there were plenty of cases waiting in the trunk of her car. She was preceded in death by her father Pasquale Menone, Mother Flossie Menone (nee Hoops), and Brothers James Menone and Bobby Sawyers. She is survived by her Loving children Michael Hayes and George Hayes; her Brothers Jack Sawyers and Roger Sawyers; her Sister Jeanie Alimenti; and her Companion and Dear Friend Joseph A. Desimone. Services were private.
