Mauricio Bondad Gesmundo Sr. passed on January 18, 2021. Husband of Rosie (nee Ortega). Beloved father of Mauricio Jr. (Ane), Cristie (Mark), Juliet (RhysNeil), Ferdinand, Josephine (Romeo), Alma (Kelan), Marites, Alice (Arnold) and George Kevin. Loving grandfather of Patrick, Lucas, Leo, Margret (Ron), Romae, Romarch, EA, RhysNeil, Jan Maureen, Jhan Clariz, Jhon Maurice, Jamie, Jeng, Jerome, Onyok, John, Jasmine (Jonas), Kathleen, AC and Angel. Great Grandfather of Jhaira, Kyle, Christianjae, Cristiaramae. Dad was born on December 8, 1937 in San Pablo City, Laguna in the Philippines. He graduated from Laguna College with a Bachelor’s in Education. He spent almost a decade working at Pacific Engineering. He later immigrated to Philadephia in July, 1978 and worked two full time jobs at Eden Restaurant and in Banquets at Bellevue Hotel in Center City. He had a passion for chess and singing. He was a soloist for St. Augustine Church choir for many years in Old City Philadelphia. Relatives and friends are incited to attend his viewing Friday Eve 7 - 9 PM BALDI FUNERAL HOME 1331 S. Broad St. (Ample Parking on Premises) and Saturday 11:30 - 12:30 St. Augustine Church 243 N. Lawrence St. Phila., Pa. 19106. Funeral MASS will follow viewing 12:30PM.
